Cruelty Free Shopping in Derby
Derby is a small, compact shopping centre which offers a similar variety of shops to many larger cities including a Sainbury's and a Holland & Barratt which are both located in the Eagle Centre. The bus station is literally seconds away from the centre and the train station is a pleasant and well-signposted 5-minute walk. Park & Ride facilities are available just off the A61 to the North and also just off the A52 to the East of the shopping centre.
| Lush Sells an amazing variety of handmade cosmetics, great for gifts, and not tested on animals. | SoundBites An exciting new project offering organic, locally grown produce and a vegetarian cafe. |
| Normanton has a choice of Indian restaurants and take-aways (unfortunately none solely veggy) where snacks and sweets can be purchased. | The Bookshop Cafe Caters for vegans - check out their delish soya milk cappucino and a marj-free humus and salad sandwich. |
Of course there are also many out-of-town small Co-op supermarkets which sell keenly-priced household products and cosmetics which are not tested on animals.
